Afghanistan’s Interior Ministry reported the seizure of hundreds of kilograms of narcotics, nearly 14,000 intoxicant tablets, and an alcohol production site during operations in multiple provinces.
Authorities confiscated 309 kilograms of narcotics in Kunduz and 186 kilograms in Helmand. In Jawzjan, police dismantled a processing site and seized fermented materials and alcohol. Several suspects were detained and referred to judicial authorities.
Additionally, 13,881 intoxicant tablets were seized in Lashkargah city of Helmand province, with two individuals arrested in connection with the case.
