Reconstruction work on three water supply networks in Haji Lalajan, Shand, and Ghaziabad villages of Bakwah district, Farah province, has started with a budget of over 15.6 million Afghanis.
According to the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the project includes drilling three water wells, rebuilding three reservoirs, installing 48 solar systems, and laying more than 12,000 meters of pipelines.
Upon completion, 216 families will gain access to safe drinking water, while the project will also create temporary job opportunities for local residents during the construction phase.
