Iran has not agreed to a second round of negotiations with the United States, conditioning further dialogue on changes in Washington’s approach, according to a source.

The source said Tehran considers the U.S. proposals excessive and is seeking effective, result-oriented negotiations rather than prolonged talks without outcomes.

Iran also emphasized that any future negotiations should follow a defined framework, including sanctions relief and broader regional considerations. Differences over conditions and format of talks remain unresolved.
